TAIKONAUTEN - ROTATING REALITY

As my dissertation I decided to make a music video for a group of musicians who call themselves the Taikonauts, being descended to the Chinese word for astronauts.

In his meaning this word consists as follows:

TAI | huge / empty
KONG | space
REN | human/-s

"humans in a huge empty space"

This meaning interpreting, in the video a chinese rocket(CZ-2F) is shown assambling from her components. To every part of the rocket a quality of the Taikonauten and with it a meaning is assigned.

Compounded the rocket takes off and flies in the, in contrast to the rocket itself, meaning-empty space, the mainstream. When the satellite reaches the orbit, it opens his solar panels and sends music towards the planet and within a signal which spreads the qualities of the Taikonauten. By that his listeners should rouse and appeal for more meaning, quality and depth in the music branch.
